Engineering Manager, LinkedIn

2022 – 2026

Managed teams of 5-11 engineers across junior, senior, and staff levels while staying deeply hands-on in architecture, implementation, and launch execution. Contributed to many different areas of the organization, including jobs, ads, mobile payments, and AI product.

Led an 8-engineer team to build LinkedIn Crosscheck, a blind side-by-side frontier-model evaluation product. Released to the public in under 3 months of development time. Stepped in and acted as a staff engineer to accelerate timelines and ship on schedule.
Introduced AI-assisted development workflows to the development team, measuring 40%+ development-time savings across numerous completed initiatives. Acted as an AI-first advocate for other teams in the organization.
Architected LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Mobile Boosting, a projected $29M first-year revenue opportunity. Led LinkedIn's first Apple Advanced Commerce API integration, which could be re-used by other teams within the company. Worked cross-functionally across marketing, business applications, finance, and payments platform teams.
Led Immersive Video Ads initial launch, working across video, ad serving, and ad foundation teams to deliver on schedule. Ran a successful ad campaign test which showed ~10% improved video views and click-through rates when compared to previous tests.
Built LinkedIn's job seeker preferences platform and salary filters, growing salary-preference adoption 300% to 8M users at the time. Onboarded additional partners to the preferences platform for things like resumes and skills which saw ~500K weekly active users in initial tests.
Sustained high employee engagement through multiple reorgs, with employee satisfaction survey scores up to 88/100 (+12 vs company, +16 vs org). Continued to nuture and promote engineers through the changes.

Principal Engineer, Engineering Manager, Vistaprint / Cimpress

2017 – 2022

Ended tenure as a people manager and principal engineer in the Manufacturing Software group. Managed a team of 5 senior engineers to design and implement novel manufacturing equipment integrations for Cimpress' global manufacturing plants.

Engineered seamless integrations with industrial hardware by reverse-engineering protocols in highly constrained environments; navigated technical limitations with experimental approach, ensuring reliable and scalable solutions where no clear alternatives existed.
Drove migration from legacy Windows-based .NET applications to modern, cloud-native architectures in AWS; defined containerized deployment strategies and guided teams through cloud adoption with no impact on customers; on-call pages dropped by 80%.
